PETIT VOUR RITUALS: DETOX WITH KAIA NATURAL
Ever wonder what a “day in the life” is like for the founders of your favorite beauty brands or what tips & tricks they’d be bursting to share with you if given a chance? We sure do, and are delighted to continue “PETIT VOUR RITUALS,” our blog series intended to bridge the gap between industry experts in the clean, ethical, beauty and lifestyle space and YOU, our wonderful audience who knows there’s no such thing as too much useful information. We’ll travel down the avenues of skincare, makeup, haircare, seasonal styling, wellness and so much more to give you the exclusive insights and even answer your burning questions.
Now, we shift attention to Mary Futher of Kaia Naturals. She’ll fill us in on how to truly incorporate natural detoxification into your daily routine. Enjoy!
"At Kaia Naturals, we’ve been obsessed with morning matcha! I love to start my day with a teaspoon mixed into a cup of warm water. It’s full of antioxidants and gives me lots of energy for the day ahead. Once in the shower, I love to lather the Deodorant Booster Bar under my arms and let it sit for about 30 seconds. Using apple cider vinegar and activated charcoal to eliminate odor-causing bacteria, I also use this bar on other "stinky parts" like my feet!
Once I’m out of the shower, I’ll apply my Takesumi Detox Charcoal Deodorant. Right now I’m loving the Lime Mint scent but I always switch it up. I also always keep a travel-sized version in my purse in case I want to re-apply during the day. After the work day is done, I’ll often try to get a workout in. Even if it’s a short walk or bike ride, I like to get my body moving (especially after sitting at my desk all day).
Every month I love to treat myself to one of our Detox Hot Baths. They’re very relaxing and help to detox the body from head to toe by sweating it out. There’s also nothing better than a hot bath during these cold winter months or when fighting the flu.
Before bed, I love to read and catch up on industry news with a cup of tea. I try to stay off my phone as much as possible so I can really unwind before bed. I’m calling it a “digital detox” and challenge you to try it as well!"
