The holidays are a magical time spent with family and friends — party-hopping, cork-popping, and gift shopping. But oh, the gift shopping! It can be so difficult to find that perfect something for that special someone. To help ease the stress, our staff got together to talk about what they'll be gifting their friends, family, and even themselves this year.
So whether you're shopping for your sister, your daughter’s teacher, your co-worker, or your pet sitter, there’s a gift for everyone that’s been naughty or nice!
for friends: For pretty little gifts for all my friends, I love the mini Hand & Body Lotions by Leaves of Trees. They are gorgeous, each scent smells so divine, and you really cannot beat that price-point.
for myself: A VOTCH watch! I have been on the prowl for a gorgeous vegan leather watch for what seems like ages. I love the selection by VOTCH, particularly the gold-rimmed pieces from the New Collection.
for family: I would get the PV Green Knit Hat for my sister-in-law who lives in northern California. She loves being out in nature with her dogs and it's cold & snowy there! I'm going to gift my daughter-in-law the May Lindstrom Treatment Bowl & Brush, The Problem Solver, and the Youth Dew; I have these products and love them! My daughter-in-law has two small children and also works full time. I always give her a gift she would never buy for herself. She needs a little pampering!
for myself: The Angela Roi Wallet in Scarlet. I'm putting this on my Christmas list! I'm very organized and I love a wallet with a place for everything. I'll always be able to find it in my purse because of the bright color.
for family: This holiday, I'm so excited to gift my brother's girlfriend the Petit Vour Beauty Box subscription. She and I have a mutual interest in trying out all the best & brightest beauty products out there that are plant-based and cruelty-free. This felt like a natural gift to get her so we can gab about our favorite products together and share pics trying everything out. A gift that refreshes every month is something I know she'll adore!
for myself: I think the question is, "What wouldn't I want to get for myself?" While this question is a toughie, I'd say that the item I've been eyeing for a longtime is the Grayson Italian Indigo Flannel button down from Frank & Eileen. It's just the right weight for winters in Austin and long enough to wear with my favorite leggings and boots. I have a feeling I'd live in this shirt for years to come.
for family: The Beauty Chef Holiday Boost Set makes a great gift for mom, because she loves eating healthy and trying new ways to bring back her youth. This will help her feel beautiful from the inside out!
for friends: The Petit Vour Knit Hats make a great gift because they're cute and versatile. They'll keep your friend warm through the holidays, and it's easy to find the right size!
for family: Let's see, well I guess I might get my sister something because I did grow up with her after all and whether or not I might torture her (but she also tortures me), she still is my sister and, well, probably my best friend. But if you tell her, I'll deny I ever said that. She's kind of a fanatic for makeup & jewelry so I'll either get her Red Apple Lipstick in the colors Rebel! & Naughty as she likes both a bold and toned down, neutral colors. Alima Pure The Ultimate Eye Duo | Icon & Instinct - she's not a big fan of dark, smoky eyes but she still likes a little bold look. This gift duo is perfect since both colors can be worn separately or together to give a twist on the classic smoky eye. Loren Hope Kaylee Studs - she's really into jewelry, but something she can wear more often and not feel too overly dressed up. Also, gifting her this is my way of trying to subtly tell her she needs to stop using my earrings.
for family: I absolutely adore everything by Aromatherapy Associates. Their scents and packaging are just so divine, I can't not gift my mom one of their sets! I also love the Aromatherapy Associates rollerballs with their cute boxes; they'll be a luxe stocking stuffer for my cousins this year.
